This page outlines the intended PROCESS for the ‘Growing Leadership in the Mid-West’ survey.
The purpose of the initial survey is simply to ask some questions about leadership, then see what comes up.
You can take the Survey here. It consists of some very short answers, some multiple choice questions, and can be completed in 10 minutes.
The first phase of this process is to ask the question then feed back the responses to those who respond. Nothing else is planned in detail beyond that, as what responses come in will really influence what happens next.
The survey will be sent to individuals and organisations in the region, with encouragement for them to send it on further. People will have a few weeks to respond, closing 5th March 2010.
I do not have the resources to distribute and collect this information, except via the web and email. Collation of information about who responds will be useful for working out how just web/email affects the validity of the results.
Two weeks after the closing date, I will send the anonymised and collated results back out to those that supplied their contact details. Only I will know who wrote what, or even who responded.
Subsequent communication may invite people to opt-in to further participation. In what, how and for what purpose will be determined by the survey.
Although this seems like an ‘open’ approach, I feel that it wouldn’t really be an inquiry if I guessed what the results would be and therefore narrowed the options of what would be appropriate to do next!
Any more questions asked by participants, or answers I come up with will be updated on this page.
If these answers satisfy you, then you can take the Survey here. It consists of some very short answers, some multiple choice questions, and can be completed in 10 minutes.
